General Manager
Brunswick Sewer District

The Board of Trustees of the Brunswick Sewer District has asked us to assist them in a search for the next General Manager of this state-chartered, quasi-municipal, not-for-profit, environmentally regulated organization.

This executive position is responsible for oversight of all operations and administration of the District, its 3.85 mgd primary and secondary wastewater treatment and disposal facility, its 20 pumping stations, and approximately 70 miles of gravity and pressure sewer lines and maintenance holes.

Applicants must have an appropriate four-year college degree (or equivalent years of relevant experience), in addition to at least five years of experience in progressively more responsible management positions and expertise in project management. Familiarity with wastewater systems and a degree in engineering would be highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be an effective problem solver, a critical thinker, and an individual with strong ethics, who continually keeps up to date on industry issues. Outstanding communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to perform well under pressure are essential.
