Our client, The Cedars, is Portland's finest Senior Living community with 102 residents and an enthusiastic and dedicated staff. The Cedars has asked us to assist them in their very important search for a Director of Nursing. As a member of the leadership team, the Director of Nursing will direct, plan and coordinate service activities for all nursing personnel providing resident care. The incumbent will interpret policies and regulations for all nursing staff to ensure compliance; will analyze and evaluate nursing and related services; and make certain that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The successful candidate will be team-focused, committed to ensuring
high quality patient-centered care, and will posses excellent leadership
and people management skills. A BSN degree, RN licensed in the State
of Maine and 3-5 years of prior experience as a nurse leader are essential.
Candidates with prior experience with long term care and rehabilitation
will be preferred. Regulatory compliance experience is also preferred.
